Hazy Manor’s Road Trip….Part 2

So Anginola & Hazy got chatting about what a nice racecourse Fakenham was….. and on Wednesday it was Hazy Manor’s turn to pack a haynet & her passport, and make the long journey south.

Having been balloted out the week before at (much more local) Sedgefield, this was Hazy’s debut in a juvenile hurdle.

Under Henry’s guidance and running against horses much higher rated than her on the flat, she jumped off in front and raced quite keenly, but critically she hurdled brilliantly.

Despite finding it tough going in the latter stages of the race, her jumping continued to stand up to scrutiny and she ran on tenaciously for 4th place.

We are very much looking forward to finding her next engagement as soon as possible and seeing how she progresses.
